The Christian life is not intended solely as an individual experience. Our standing with God is secured through His Son, Jesus Christ. Our renewal and transformation in Jesus is most clearly realized and observable in our relationships with fellow saints in the context of local churches. The 2010 Men’s Fellowship of the Minnesota Baptist Association is designed to provide opportunities to strengthen relationships between the men of our local churches though recreational activities, Biblical instruction, and corporate worship. This year’s speakers will be speaking on three primary tools that God has provided for building and maintaining membership roles in the local church. We will hear instruction on baptism, church membership, and church discipline. A panel discussion will also be included as part of the proceedings. Please consider joining us as we equip ourselves with these “tools for the task!”

Through The Roof: 2010 Ladies Annual Retreat

Mrs. Colene Price

The MBA Ladies Annual Retreat will once again be held in Owatonna at Grace Baptist Church, 265 26th Street NE, on March 19-20. Registration will be on Friday from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. and Saturday from 8:30 to 9 a.m. All ladies who would like to sing in the choir should be at the church at 6 p.m. on Friday for choir practice. The evening session will begin at 6:30 p.m. A schedule for both days is enclosed.

Mrs. Colene Price will be our keynote speaker. She and her husband, Terry, have been involved in college ministry for over 35 years. Colene teaches in the areas of Women’s and Children’s ministries as well as in the Speech Department at Maranatha Baptist Bible College in Watertown, Wisconsin. She has spoken across the country and I’m sure you will be blessed as she shares what God has laid upon her heart.
