The State Missionary Search Committee is pleased to report a successful and productive meeting was held as we continue the pursuit of a candidate to fill what we envision will be a full-time position serving the churches of the MBA. A questionnaire for potential candidates was composed by the committee, which will allow for more careful and detailed evaluation of those being initially considered. A timeline has been implemented to keep the search process progressing, and procedures to narrow down the list of possible candidates have been established.
We ask for your faithful prayer support for those making important decisions over the next several weeks. We on the committee look forward to providing a more detailed update on our progress at the upcoming Annual Meeting in July.
Now may the God of patience and comfort grant you to be like-minded toward one another, according to Christ Jesus, that you may with one mind and one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Romans 15:5-6 (NKJV)
